Paramount Chief of Pejeh Chiefdom Commends Njala University, Bo Campus DVC

Njala University, Bo Campus, 11th November, 2024— PC Sheku A.K.M. Koroma, the Paramount Chief of Pejeh Chiefdom, Pujehun District, visited the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Njala University and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC) of Bo Campus, Professor Mohamed Syed Fofanah, this morning to express appreciation for the positive developments on campus. PC Koroma praised the DVC’s leadership, noting significant improvements that have strengthened the University’s role in the community.

The Paramount Chief specifically acknowledged the recent establishment of the Njala University Location in Pujehun District, which he said demonstrates the Administration’s commitment to expanding educational access. “This new location will bring immense benefits to local communities,” said PC Koroma.

PC Sheku Koroma commended the University’s impact on regional development, from creating jobs to fostering skills among youth. He described the University’s initiatives as transformative for the local economy and social progress.

The DVC thanked PC Koroma for his support and pledged continued efforts to enhance educational quality and community engagement. “Our success is rooted in partnerships with local leaders like you,” he told the Paramount Chief.

Professor Fofanah praised the Vice-Chancellor and Principal of Njala University for his inclusive, consultative, and collaborative work ethic, which he noted as the driving force behind the many successes of his Administration.

The meeting concluded with mutual commitments to strengthen collaboration between Njala University and Pujehun District, aiming to further growth and educational advancement.
