Bo Campus DVC Boosts PR Office with Equipment
Njala University, Bo Campus, Towsma Location, 30th March 2026 The Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Bo Campus, Professor Rashid Ansumana, has provided essential working tools to the Public Relations Office at Bo Campus in a move aimed at strengthening the university's communication and media outreach.
The items were officially handed over this afternoon to the Public Relations Assistant, who described the support as both timely and historic. The equipment includes a high-speed computer, an iPhone, a wireless microphone, and a tripod stand, all intended to enhance the efficiency and quality of public relations activities.
Speaking during the presentation, Professor Ansumana noted that equipping staff with the necessary tools to effectively carry out their duties is a key part of his vision for the campus. He expressed confidence that the items would significantly improve the delivery of public relations practices and enable the office to operate at a more advanced and professional level.
He explained that the intervention followed consultations with various departments upon assuming office, during which he sought to understand their challenges. The Public Relations Office highlighted the lack of essential working tools, prompting the Deputy Vice-Chancellor to request a modest list of needed equipment, which has now been procured.
In addition to the items provided, Professor Ansumana also made his personal drone available to support media and promotional activities, further demonstrating his commitment to improving institutional visibility.
Responding, the Public Relations Assistant expressed profound gratitude for the support. He commended the Deputy Vice-Chancellor's foresight and leadership, noting that the support would transform the way public relations is practiced on campus.
Mr. Ayuba Koroma also extended appreciation to the central administration, including the Vice-Chancellor and Principal, for their continued support to the Bo Campus, assuring that the Public Relations Office will deliver more effective and impactful communication across the university.
