ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY
•    To provide management and administrative support to research and development activities across the university.
•    To facilitate and manage the development and review of university research agenda, policies, and guidelines for effective institutional and national development.
•    To establish and coordinate partnerships between Njala University and external institutions in staff capacity building, research and development.
•    To perform any other tasks as delegated by the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and Principal, and the management of Njala University.

The Directorate of Research and Development (DRD) has set up an all-inclusive Wing of Consultancy in Njala University. As the university disciplines span across the sciences, humanities and arts, including a robust administrative staff, a Talent Pool of Experts and Professional has been created to handle consultancies in all works of life.
