Sualiho Sheriff is a Lecturer in the Institute of Social Studies, Administration and Management (ISSAM), School of Social Sciences and Law, Njala University, Bo Campus. He holds B.Sc. (Hons) in Accounting and MBA-Finance from Njala University. He also earned his Master of Philosophy degree in Accounting and Finance, from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. He has published research papers in reputable journals on diverse topics and has received certificates in Health Systems Finance, London School of Hygiene, Pedagogue Training from Non-Professional Lecturers-Eastern Technical University, Sage Accounting Software, Internal Control Systems-IPAM, USL.
Sualiho Sheriff has worked in several institutions and in different capacities. He has served as a Lecturer at the Eastern Technical University of Sierra Leone-lecturing commercial and finance courses and supervising undergraduate projects. Sualiho Sheriff was an internal auditor for the Academic Staff Association, Eastern Technical University, to conduct an end of year audit and ensure compliance with the internal control systems. He was a member of the Curriculum Validation Committee for reviewing new courses for the Eastern Technical University of Sierra Leone and the Canadian College of Technology.
He is a member of the University Congregation Working Group and serves in the capacity of Senior Assistant Marshal. He believes in competence, integrity and professional service delivery. His interests include; corporate reporting, audit and assurance, research, financial management, public policy and public finance.
He has also reviewed courses in Accounting and Business Administration in various options such as Marketing, HRM, Project and Public Administration, Institute of Social Studies, Administration and Management (ISSAM), Njala University, Bo Campus, Sierra Leone, West Africa.
He has twelve years of experience teaching, research and community service and organised seminars and conferences in different institutions on corporate social responsibility, internal audit systems in corporate governance, public sector accounting and finance concepts in local councils and working capital management strategies in the private sector.
Sualiho Sheriff has served in the capacity of the Accounting Programme Coordinator and is currently the Acting Director, Institute of Social Studies, Administration and Management (ISSAM), Social Sciences and Law, Njala University, Bo Campus, Sierra Leone, West Africa.
Sualiho Sheriff is a Senate Member of the University Restructuring Committee. He enjoys spending his leisure time playing football, reading, conducting research and swimming with his wife and three children.
