Augustine Bundu RASHID-NOAH is the coordinator for the activities of the Bebi project in Sierra Leone and responsible for the organization of stove demonstration, workshops on stove set up and use for entrepreneurs, pellet production and testing with different starting materials. Currently, he is a senior lecturer in Soil & Water Engineering, and Director, Institute of Mathematics, Physics & Computer Sciences at the Department of Agricultural Engineering, School of Technology, Njala University. He holds a PhD in Agricultural Engineering (Soil & Water Option), McGill, Canada and a MSc Agricultural Engineering (Tropical Agricultural Mechanization), Reading (UK). From 1972 ha has been an assistant Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, Department of Agric. Engineering, University of Sierra Leone/Njala University, contributing to training of students of Agriculture, Agric. Education, Forestry & Horticulture, Soil Science(Diploma, BSc, MSc levels), teaching courses including Irrigation, Soil Conservation, Land Development, Hydrology, Mechanics. He acted as Head Agric. Engineering Department (1986-1992) and Dean of School of Technology, Njala University (2005-2007). Since 1983 he acted as a consultant for several local and international organizations (short periods of time) in the area of land development, water management, small-scale irrigation; organizations include FAO, UNDP, WARDA (Africa Rice), African Development Bank.
